RIXS study on hydrogen bonding network of water at interfaces (Abstract)
Bio
Yoshihisa Harada was born in Gifu, Japan in 1972 and received a ME, 1997 and a PhD in applied physics at the University of Tokyo, Japan, 2000. He was a postdoc at RIKEN Harima Institute for 7 years and then moved to the University of Tokyo. He was a contract lecturer from 2007 to 2009 and contract associate professor from 2009 to 2011 in applied chemistry and Synchrotron Radiation Research Organization at the University of Tokyo. He moved to the Institute for Solid State Physics, the University of Tokyo in 2011 as an associate professor, and promoted to professor in 2018, which is his present position as well. His research interests are soft X-ray emission spectroscopy, core-induced dynamics and its applications, electro catalysis in fuel cells, electronic structure of water and aqueous solutions, interfaces and biomaterials. He constructed in total seven soft X-ray emission spectrometers in Japan, always following the No.1 energy resolution and stability in the world. He received Best Paper Award from The Physical Society of Japan in 2004 and Young Scientist Award from Japanese Society for Synchrotron Radiation Research in 2005.
