Bio
Alberto Foletti, M.D. obtained his degree in Medicine and Surgery, Magna Cum Laude, from Milan State University, Italy in 1988; he then obtained his specialization diploma in General Surgery, Magna Cum Laude, from Milan State University, Italy in 1993. He got a Master degree, Magna Cum Laude, in Neuro Psycho Physical Optimization and CRM therapy, from Florence State University, Italy, in 2008. He started his career working as surgeon at Piacenza public Hospital from 1991 until 1998. From 1998 onwards, he has been working in the field of biophysical treatments for therapy and prevention as an independent researcher. In 2008 He moved to Switzerland, where he founded and became scientific director of the Clinical Biophysics International Research Group, Lugano, Switzerland. He has been a research associate of the Department of Innovative technologies, University of Applied Sciences of Southern Switzerland, Manno, Switzerland from October 2011 to September 2013. From January 2012 he has been a research associate of the Institute of Translational Pharmacology, National Research Council-CNR, Rome, Italy. His research mandate specifically related to the study and the evaluation of low frequencies and low intensity electromagnetic fields as a possible pharmacological therapy. He started and chaired a series of International Symposia titled: Biophysical Aspects of Complexity in Health and Disease, held in Milan, Italy 2010, Lugano, Switzerland 2012, Lugano, Switzerland 2014, Lugano, Switzerland 2016, Milan, Italy 2018. He is also author of many peer-reviewed papers and contributor to international conferences in the field of biophysics.
