Instructions for Oral Presenters
1. Before Your Session
- On-site presenters: Connect to the venue’s Wi-Fi upon arrival.
- All presenters (on-site and online): Join your assigned Zoom session ahead of your scheduled presentation time.
- Please refer to the conference program for your presentation time and session details.
- All presenters are required to use their own PC to join Zoom and share their screen for the presentation.
If you need to borrow a PC, please contact us in advance. - Please ensure your Zoom application is updated to the latest version.
- When joining via Zoom, please ensure your name is correctly displayed, preferably your full name, for registration and verification purposes.
- If you are unfamiliar with Zoom operation, feel free to contact us in advance for assistance.
2. During Your Presentation
- Online presenters:
- Share your screen when it is your turn to present.
- Turn on your microphone and front-facing camera.
- The host or co-host will send a chat message 1 minute before the end of your presentation time.
- On-site presenters:
- Please take a seat in the “waiting area” near the stage as your turn approaches.
- Share your screen via Zoom when your presentation begins.
- Mute your microphone and turn off your front-facing camera (audio and video will be managed from the venue).
- A timekeeper at the venue will give you a 1-minute warning before the end of your presentation time.
3. General Notes
- Please do not include any confidential information in your presentation slides.

For Poster Presenters
- A0 – size portrait poster boards will be provided in the foyer.
- Please attach your poster to the board labeled with your presentation number.
- Posters can be displayed starting from May 17. Early setup is recommended.
Short Presentation for the Poster Presenters
- Poster presenters will be asked to give a brief oral presentation (3 minutes) on stage.
- Please prepare 1–2 slides summarizing the key points of your poster for your presentation.
- Submission deadline: May 17, 2025
- Please submit your slides to conference@aquaphotomics.com with subject: [AIC2025 Poster Presentation]
- Our staff will operate the slides during the session.
Preparation for the Advanced Course of the Aquaphotomics School
To help you participate more smoothly in the interactive parts of the Advanced Course, we recommend that you install the following software on your computer before the workshop.
Sample data will be provided during the session for hands-on practice.

Recordings
Please note that the conference will be recorded throughout the event for documentation purposes.
Recordings of the academic sessions will be accessible only to registered participants after the conference. We will inform you as soon as the recordings are ready for viewing.
Study Tour Information
The study tour will begin in the afternoon of Tuesday, May 20, after the conclusion of the academic sessions.
Participants will depart directly from Kobe University, so please be prepared accordingly.
